About: Laurence Oster


Laurence Oster is a founding principal of FFO. In addition to leasing, he oversees business development and administration for the company, playing a key role in the management and cultivation of the company’s clients and partners.

Mr. Oster began his career in 1999 at Williams Jackson Ewing, Inc. a nationally acclaimed retail development firm known for leading projects such as the redevelopment of Union Station in Washington, DC and Grand Central Terminal in New York City. While at WJE, Mr. Oster was assigned leadership roles in various retail projects including urban, transit oriented, neighborhood and specialty food markets. Mr. Oster’s tenure at WJE introduced him to a broad network of industry contacts with whom he continues to share dedicated ties and relationships.

Mr. Oster joined Prime Retail in 2003 and played an integral role in the core leasing group that helped reposition the company as one of the top outlet center developers in the industry. Over the course of his tenure at Prime, Mr. Oster developed and managed relationships with hundreds of national retailers, and was responsible for the leasing of over 1.5 million square feet of space to new and existing portfolio tenants.

Mr. Oster holds a BS in Economics from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from the Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School
