With more than 21 years of experience in the residential and commercial development and leasing industry, Scott Ferguson is a founding Principal in FFO where he is responsible for the company’s development management and financial analysis, in addition to leasing activities where he works with high profile national accounts such as Nike Brands, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, , Guess, Cole Haan, Vera Bradley and TJX brands.
Mr. Ferguson started his versatile career as a Development Manager with Landex Corporation, an innovative residential developer based in Baltimore, MD. While there he directly oversaw two award-winning residential projects totaling $75 million in development costs. In 2006 he joined The Cordish Company and was responsible for leasing and developing two expansions to the current Tanger Outlets-The Walk, in addition to leasing their other high profile gaming and sports anchored developments, including the nationally acclaimed Kansas City Power and Light District.
After joining the Prime Retail team in 2008, Mr. Ferguson served as a Director of Leasing where he was responsible for managing an active account list of dozens of national retail tenants. While there he negotiated and closed over one half million square feet of new leases with first year annual rents exceeding $20 million. Mr Ferguson was also accountable for bringing a dozen new Tenants into the Prime portfolio, in addition to opening the first retail outlet stores in the U.S. for five retailers.
Mr. Ferguson holds a B.S from James Madison University and a Master of Planning with a Real Estate Development specialization from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
